Maui is one of tourists’ favorite islands to visit because of the sheer number of things to do. Maui’s major city, Kahului features some of the best shopping in the islands, especially at the Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center. Kahului is also home to the Alexander and Baldwin Sugar Museum, Kanaha Pond State Wildlife Sanctuary, Kanaha Beach County Park, and the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Hana is another popular place with several things to do. In fact, many people think that Maui vacations are not complete without a drive on the long and winding road to Hana. Besides Haleakala National Park, Hana’s other attractions and places to see include Kahanu Garden, Kaia Ranch Tropical Botanical Gardens, Hana Beach Park, Hana Ball Park, Pailoa Bay, Hamoa Beach, and Wainapanapa.

The Maui Myth and Magic Theatre is located in Lahaina and is one of the Maui’s best attractions. Ulalena, an exhilarating Broadway-like stage production that fuses the historical legends of Hawaii, ancient culture, and mythology of the islands, is based at the theater. The theatrical experience provides the audience with a personal and unique show that touches the heart, stimulates excitement, and instills an element of surprise while recreating some of the best stories of love, myth, and legend from the days of ancient Hawaii.
